Excellent experience and highly recommended!!

I started training with Rod about 6 months ago, when I started training for my second marathon. I'd never worked with a trainer before, but wanted to increase running speed/endurance while building muscle and functional strength. 

Rod developed a comprehensive training plan (complete with home workouts) which took all of those goals into account, and adjusted them as mileage increased. He incorporates a variety of unique exercises (e.g., sledgehammer swings, wall jumps, etc.) which keep each session different and exciting, in addition to traditional exercises (e.g., squats, lunges, pull ups) with equipment that can be found in most gyms. As a result, I shaved 25 minutes off my previous marathon time, and have increased strength, power, muscle tone, and stability. 

Rod has a wealth of knowledge to share and is an awesome person to work with and learn from. The Transform 180 gym environment and other trainers are very friendly, laid-back, and conducive to helping people of all fitness levels. I look forward to continuing training at the gym, and definitely recommend it to anyone interested in improving their fitness or reaching a new athletic goal.
